MIAMI WINNERS where are they now?

Wow ... talking about a blast from the past. LOL Where to start...
Chris Palidino ... lives with his Scion Loving GF Amanda on S.I.N.Y. He wasnt there cause he was too young and instead took the buy out.
Dave Gault ... used to be an Admin here on SL. He is happily married now with a baby girl who is 3 i believe.
Omar ... The founder of ScioNRG. We lost touch with him about 3 years ago. He found a job with his tech background and was traveling the world. Last i heard he married and was living in the Bronx somewhere.
Munch ... God love him. The man and his need for speed ... he was in a bad accident 2 years ago. He got sideways in his Evo in some sand on a blind curve and managed to wrap the car around to where the trunk was touching the hood! He was in the hospital for about 2 months ... several weeks he was in ICU with the understanding that he would likely be a vegetable. Thank God he pulled thru, and he ended up coming back to work 6 months later. He currently has another Evo that runs the 1/4 in the 10 sec. range .. and also has a twin turboed Z.
Me? Well, Jenn and i finally got married in Aug. of 2010. It was a surprise Disney wedding with just her and i. She had no idea about the trip, the surprise proposal in Cinderellas Castle and the Wedding on the beach 2 days later. I work up here with Munch at SWS kicking cases of liqour off a truck in Queens NY. My free time is now dedicated to my Honda Fury and doing local charity runs or just go out riding with friends.
Jenn .. she took over ScioNRG and is still running it. Although our membership has declined we are still here. She was layed off from her teaching job .. as have 2,000 + teachers here on Long Island. She now is working at a law firm doing data entery a couple days a week. This also allows her time to spend with her mother who is fighting brain, lung and pelvic cancer.
Scion has all but fizzled out here in the NorthEast. Scion doesnt host any events, nor do they give their stealerships money to host events any longer. Its been steadily dying out over the past 4 or so years to where its now non exsistant. Its really not surprising though, as any organized ( and even some of the smaller unorganized ) events and shows dont have the draw they did years ago, no matter what the make or model is. We still get together with old NRG members a couple times a month, even if its just to hang out, shoot pool and have a beer. Jenn still has the Lowes Magic Pink Cup ... and the rings with the luggage.
Jenn and i still have our RS1s. She has about 75K miles and has Jeffs ( NJThunder5Speed ) custom one off hood with the Celica hood scoop molded in. I just recently bought Daves front end that has the WRX fogs molded in along with the one piece rear bumper. I also had mine 2toned a couple years back. 100K+ miles and she is still going strong.

didn't help that the Scion Rep for this State changed more often then most people change their oil (the longest we had one last was 6 months, most lasted just a few weeks) Scion is basically dead here.

I'm still around! my Scion luggage is about done but has been to some fantastic places!.
MY 04 xB is going strong, but after some road damage, a break in and wear and tear the body is not so hot but its going strong as ever! .. After having it for this long and about 130K miles i had to replace one wheel bearing in the rear because i overloaded it owning a lighting business. and just now i'm having an oil pan gasket leak.. but all in all you cant beat this great car.. especially still cranking out 35mpg with a TRD exhaust and AEM intake. life is good

Never really get on the forum anymore unless I break something. I still have my xB RS2.0 I'm not as in love with it as I used to be but it still is a great car. I've got a 90 mile commute to work now so i'm racking up the miles quickly but still barely under 100k miles. I'm the Assistant Chief of the Fire Department
where I live so my car gets a workout and is always piled full of fire and med gear and frequently involves high speed on gravel roads or driving off the road through the grass and the body has quite a few dents and dings. I need to post some of my pictures of the Scion being used as a mobile command post at a structure fire.
The Miami Owners event was one of the best trips I have ever taken. I met some friends that I still talk to on a regular basis and have taken several trips to hang out with some of the people I met there.

Wow has it been a long time since I've even been on the forums! I have since moved from Florida about 4 years ago now up to South Carolina. I picked my drums back up a few years ago (thankfully) and am now playing in a decently successful Reggae/Rock band called Marrietta's Palm. We have had an awesome first year out since my joining the group, with radio play on several local stations and plenty of buzz on the internet. I hold a day job, too, as a Tech Support rep, but my music is my thing. You can check us out at http://www.facebook.com/marriettaspalm and http://www.reverbnation.com/marriettaspalm I will now resume reacquainting myself with forums I haven't seen in years.... Hop everyone is well. Hit me up if someone on here recognizes me from back in my Scion Dynasty/South Florida Scikotics days. Oh yeah, I stil have my '06 xB, with 139,000 miles on it.

I still exist. My 04 Hot Lava RS 1.0 not so fortunate. Got totalled in a rearend accident. Hit by a guy in a stolen VW Jetta high on drugs, slammed into the back of my car. I have my 05 Polar White still. I loved going to Miami to that event. I think it was the best thing Scion ever did. At least the one's I have gotten to attend.

If you folks enjoyed the Miami trip years ago
If you folks enjoyed the Miami trip years ago, Victor sent me this invitation
for a Key West trip. This might be an opportunity for a reunion. There is also a forum on here with a large number of "Miami Winner"s appearing in member screen names. If anyone is serious about contacting them for a reunion, go looking. Maybe start a new thread?
Some people from Westcoast Florida will be going to this.
Thanks for the invitation, Victor.-Bob
I have started a thread related to Westcoast events. Here is the link:

This has been a dream for Michael Kennedy for a long time, when he was employed by Scion Corp it was to fill the 7-Mile bridge with Scions only, now it will include all makes but it will still be a sight to see and to be a part of, I know quite a few of you on here have had the pleasure of meeting Mr Kennedy and have growled for him, so lets help him check this off his bucket list.
Thank you,
Victor

In the spirit of keeping this thread alive I too am still around, still have the xB, although I just got done posting it up for sale. If I do not pass it on to someone else, then it goes back into the shop for yet another round of serious modifications .. lol

Now that you have stirred the pot again, Ivan, I'll stop by to say that I am still around, and still driving Scion.
I just sold my original Scion, Vanilla, that I got in January of 2005 and bought a 2013 Scion xD.
Here are the three Scions I've had, Vanilla, Pepper, and Hakumai:
Been a long time since Miami, but I still have good memories from there.
