Decent stuff.

I await the day when film grain and digital noise are no longer different.

For sure.
Not sure if you've seen this, or not.. But I have an old (it was used by a family friend in Germany during WWII) 4x5 film camera that I've been meaning to use. Hopefully I'll be able to get some shots from that pretty soon.
(Sorry that the pic itself wasnt taken on a film camera.. just wanted to show the camera itself)

What film did you use for those shots, Ethan?

All of mine were taken with my Nikon FE2 on Fuji Superia 400. I've got a roll of Kodak Gold 200 I still haven't had developed. I'll probably move to Portra next.

I could be wrong, but i believe I was using Fuji Superia 400. It may have been 800 or 200, though. I wasnt paying any attention at the time.
Shots are awesome, by the way. Kinda makes me want to get back into film..

Hmm did you let them do color correction? I like the way the colors pop on yours. I need to find a good lab to use. Either that or I'm going to start mailing mine off.

As far as I know, all they did was develop the film and upload them to a CD/DVD.
It's possible that they did it without asking, though.
The only good lab in the area shut down a couple years ago.. I got that roll developed at a Walgreens.

If I were really into film photography, I would. I dont have the time, money, or patience.
The pictures I've posted are from the summer of 2011. Yesterday was the first time I've picked up my film camera since then.

Looking to make the move from Canon film to Nikon.
I'll be posting a FS thread in the Classifieds a bit later today, but I just wanted to get the word out here.
I have a Canon EOS Rebel 2K (with a 28-90mm lens), looking to pick up a Nikon FE2 or something similar.

And for the sake of staying on topic..
