Adjust headlights

Hey guys,
Can you guys tell me how to adjust my headlights. Theyre kinda off.
Thanks

The driver side is supposed to be lower than the passenger side. This makes it so you don't blind oncoming traffic. Driver side usually points straight ahead and passenger will be a little more off to the right depending on the headlight design and vehicle ride height from the factory.

the driver seems to be aiming upwards.
Can changing the bulbs affect the aim?

yea, park your car and aim your lights to a wall at least 20 feet away. go under the hood and grab a 10mm wrench and adjust a bolt behind the headlight. I'm not sure which way aims it up or down, but just adjust it to your liking.

If you're facing your car turn the bolt to the right to aim the headlight up, turn the bolt left if you want to aim the headlight down. Turning it to the right loosens the bolt so if you are trying to move the beam up make sure you do a full turn to the left when you are done to tighten it back down. Also aiming it down also moves the beam more towards the center of the car, where as aiming the beam up moves it towards the outside of a car.

I noticed when I went HID that the light pattern was completely different and I had to do some pretty major adjustments to keep other drivers from being blinded. I'm not sure on the xD's but the tC just has a screw you turn behind the headlight. Simple as pie :)
