So here my problem I have a AEM FIC controller it will not Connected to my laptop, but after talking with AEM it has the wrong hexfiles on it. Just needs to be refreshed. I'm complete dumb when it comes to these stuff!!! I really need some help here guys, I can pay someone to come over and get it to connected

Do you have a copy of AEM's software/ a program to run or modify the programming on the fic? If not all you may be able to do is view...

Yes I have the software but on the fic its been out dated it needs to be reflashed and load new hex files on to it that way it will connected to the pc

There has to be a refresh or a flash for the fic. Is there nothing on the outside? How do their tuners do this?

motoxxx87 02-29-2012 10:58 PM

They just press the reset button and load new hex files but I'm computer dumb and suck at that stuff

Yeah I talked to him flat fee of $500 for a tune. I'm going to try my luck with pinna motorsports

Check out Blood Enterprises in Auburn, i heard they do a great job on everything they touch.
I was going to get my 5.0 tuned there but decided to drive to Cali and get tuned at AED since AED tuner has his own 5.0 and everyday he tunes it so he know the ECU better than anyone else on the west coast.

Might want to take a look here, too, for stuff that may or may not be appropriate. (I dunno - makes no sense to me.)

I can vouch for Pina, although they are a DSM/EVO specialist, they do pretty much anything. Adre is great to work with and has done good work and tunes for me in the past. A few bays down is a popular Honda tuning shop with a dyno as well, cant remember the name but you can check them out too.
