Repair or Replace Rear Bumper
 

My neighbor backed into my xB parked in the street today. The rear bumper cover is cracked in the corner; probably about a 1-1/2" crack. Can one of these plastic bumper covers be repaired to a reasonable standard, or is replacement a must?

It probably can be repaired and painted. You could also do what I did -- put a sticker of some kind over the boo boo and forget about it.

i say replace! repairing it just wont be the same, well depending on how you repair it that is

Pics would be nice, but from what you describe it sounds very much repairable. A plastic welder works wonders and gives the bumper back its structural integrity.
