I used Goo-Gone on my wife's Passat. It worked pretty good. The sticker was on for about 4 years before I got around to removing it. Took all of 10 minutes to remove the sticker and the adhesive. I bought it for under 5 bucks at Wal-Mart. Let the stuff set in before you go at it with the stiff squeege. Makes it a lot easier.

I just peeled mine off.. I got the car today and it was just tagged sometime today.. it came off real easy..

but yeah oops or goo gone works good too
