Changing light Auto tranny shift indicator

Have a 2005 XB. The light is out on my Auto Tranny indicator (Bulb that lights the PRND shifter on the floor NOT in the dash).

Does anyone know the bulb# and can anyone give me advice on where the bulb is or how to replace. I did some searches but cannot find anything. Thank you.

Did you remove the parking brake/cupholder console?

Not yet but trying to get an idea - and bulb needed before I pull it apart.

I would take the bulb out and match it at the parts store. Or buy from the dealer. You totally can drive there with removed cupholders

It's a #74.

Here's where I got mine.

Keep in mind that some of the LEDs might not fit properly. I had to shave down the base of the first LED that I had, in order to get a snug fit in the socket.

The incandescent ones fit great though. They're cheap, buy a couple and find one you like.

Thanks for the replies.

I used an LED strip. I had to cut it shorter and trim some of the plastic in the groove to get it to fit - took out the bulb and used those quick splice things to hook it up. LEDs in the cup holders are also wired to it.

I used the 1.2" flexible led strip in blue. I hooked it up the same as above. You can buy new prindle faces, too.

I have the #74 twinstar white LED version from Autolumination. Very uniform and bright. You will be please

Did this on my 2006 Xa and it is a 74. The bulb is a little bigger than stock but it does work. You have to seat it really well otherwise it may flicker as the newer bulbs only appear to have one contact per side of the bulb, not four total. You can find this bulb at any auto parts store so skip the online thing to save yourself the hassle.

Now I need to replace a bulb in the AC unit that went at the same time. Seems fishy to me.
