oil consumption

after some research it seems the tc is a known oil burner. my question is does this only pertain to only the 05-06 or the 07-10 models as well. how often do you guys with an 07+ check the oil level:mad:

Its only an oil burner if not well maintained. Turbo's or superchargers cause accelerated engine wear.

There's a thread discussing it here: https://www.scionlife.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=209859

My '06 doesn't burn any and I'm at 121,000 miles. It seems to plague the 07+ 2AZ more often.

My 05 is at 117k and burns through quite a bit, unfortunately. I lost about a quart every 4k miles.
