iPod or iPhone on the T1808 Scion radio?
 

I am installing an upgrade radio; the T1808; into my 2005 tC.
Does the '08 Pioneer Scion level entry radio support the iPhone or just an iPod? Are iPhone users connecting to an '08 Scion radio ... if so, what happens when you get a call.... Is the phone played over the radio?

I have an manual that states:

"The iPod software versions that can
be used with this unit are as follows
(operations verified as of November
2006):

iPod (3rd generation)

iPod (4th generation)

iPod (5th generation)

iPod mini

iPod photo

iPod nano

iPod nano (2nd generation)

iPod shuffle is not supported.

.... so does anyone know how the iPhone works with this radio? :pray:


I purchased an SC12235 cable sold on eBay that connects directly to the rear of the headunit, with the other end connecting to an iPod ....... does any one have experiance with this cable on something besides an iPod .... will it connect music from an iTouch or iPhone?

The iPhone will work through the cable to play music, but you may need an adapter from Scosche to get it to charge. Also, if you receive a call, you will need to unplug the phone and hold it to your ear to talk.
