Default Plz Help Engine Problem

Had Maintenance Done at a Dealer will not name it until Issue is Fixed or Solved but my engine was Dry no Oil at all Well, Now it seems like I will need a rebuild.
Loud Click Noise is made when on so friends that modify Cars told me to Never turn it On again until a mechanic looks at it So I don't make the problem Worse Any Help would be appreciated_
Either what can I do to have the dealer take responsibility or Someone Outside fix my Car_

It's a 2008 Scion xB_
I live in LA_

Thank You

Call the dealership and work it out. If that's not possible then lawyer up and they'll basically give up and do it

Did you have work done at the dealership just before this happened or just regular maintenance and you ran out of oil in between oil changes?

That's their fault if it was empty. Work it out with them and if they don't want to cooperate then open a law suit. That'll be your best bet since it was their fault

Your car may be going into limp mode. Try disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes or so. The car should reset itself

reading up on other forums also show that it may be a bad MAF sensor thats causing the car to go into limp mode

Another detail that was that i was stuck in traffic for the first time since i got my engine rebuild and had the AC on like normal at 2 on the freeway idk if that can change the reason why my car went into limp mode But the maintenance guy said it might be another issue now and not the engine anymore sounds funny to me since i had no issue with my car ever before

And welcome to dealer repaired engines. Had a friend who had to have his engine repaired at the dealer due to it being under warranty and it never did run right after that. If you can take it to an independent shop before and have them diagnose it so you have a second opinion before the dealer looks at it again.

Angry

Took it to different dealer since the other one seemed in a rush then seemed to want to blame it on another issue transmission so I was like i don't trust them anymore they where complaining about a 30 dollars a day rental car and that's why the where in a rush
I was like really but i was like i guess they know what they are doing but was wrong. I took a video my engine as soon as they took it out to hand it to me said the big rattle that I had complained about was because it was new so to put some miles on it

I did for this time I had it it still rattled hard so i showed them the video and where u can clearly hear it I was able to drive it 30 minutes to the dealer on the freeway after it was shut off for a day then before i turned it on had the battery unplugged and seemed
back to normal but didn't want to get stuck again tomorrow I'll be calling headquarters to complain and send them video i have of the engine and that the tech at the other dealer said no way that was normal even for a rebuild engine it would rattle hard to the point
that the hood would make noises Lets see what my luck is they said they where gonna open the oil pan to see if the other dealer messed up something.

And guess what I got card in the mail about my engine having Oil Consumption issues that if i had a problem I could bill them well to late for that letter now

Lets see what this other dealer finds.

Wow. Not to trying to diss you, but your posts are really hard to read and sometimes comprehend.

Did they install a new engine or what is it that they did? Did they give you anything in paper stating what the issue was and how it was resolved?
