Looks like a auris, and a mazda3 had a baby, then a matrix and a wrx had a baby, and those two babies f**cked and this is that baby.

This baby is going to be underpowered with a 1.8l motor unless its a Celi-GTS 1.8 motor (doubtful) with the 8,000rpm limit.

That was the best motor they made. The 2ZZGE motor. Too bad Toyota doesn't make this motor anymore. It was also in the Corolla Xrs and the Lotus Elise and Exige. I miss my Matrix Xrs. It would be nice if Toyota offered this motor in this new wagon. It would be a hot seller.

I'm hoping they will put in the same engine as the Blade Master G

Then add the electronics and internals from the Lotus Evora GTE
New Lotus Evora GTE vs the Stig - BBC Top Gear
Power would not be a problem

Ugh... I think Scion is setting themselves up for failure and disappointment with this car. I'll hold off my final opinion until I see the sticker price. If this thing is overpriced or not competitively priced enough... it's going to be a horrible scenario.

According to the senior vice president of Toyota, Scion is now a "test bed" for millennials. Strictly by the numbers, millennials now account for 26% of all auto sales and by the end of the decade that number will increase to 40%. Millennials are also targeted because they're more likely to go for long-term loans, which makes for more profit.

Sooo, Scion is officially getting away from the quirky xB and IQ type cars and introducing cars that they feel have the best sales potential. As for Scion being a "test-bed", to me this means that they really don't know what will work and they're keeping Scion around in the hopes of finding out.

Note that very few people seem excited about this iM(strike 1!). Another new Scion model will be introduced at the New York Auto show. Let's hope this new model isn't strike 2!

iA, looks interesting/promising. Better styled Corolla type it seems. Better motors sure would help, but it's a Scion so...

Apparently it's the motor from the Corolla Eco.
