Default 2012 Scion IQ Locking and Unlocking

Just bought a 2012 Scion IQ yesterday.
Quite happy with the gas miliage most of all.
One thing I hate though is when unlocking and locking my IQ
it does not beep. I know this is a tiny thing, but it gets on my
nerves. Any way I can change it to where it beeps when unlocking and
locking the doors using my keyfob?

Thanks from you newest member,

Wade

probably have to wire in your own beeper some how, the tC is the same way, it only flashes the blinkers and people had to wire in a beeper or install an aftermarket alarm.

X2. My 09 tc has no horn beep and I really wish it did but its not my daily driver anymore so not a big issue. Looked onto finding the lock/unlock wire and was gonna run that through a relay to the horn. Maybe ask dealer if they'd do it? Or do aftermarket alarm. Might be easiest way

I don't remember without looking at the owners manual but I believe the dealer can change that option for you.

Dealer can't change this as it is not an available feature on the IQ.

Can you post a quick video showing your success with this?

Personally I am glad it doesn't beep when locking the doors! I really hate it when other peoples horns go off for nothing! Really! If you can't see the flashes try it again! It is NICE and QUITE!
