You need weaker ones Deez. Do a quick search for "carbon hatch" and you can find it. I remember a thread about 2 months ago with the same question.

i had this problem after a slight fender bender and some body work to the rear of the car. after the lift gate was reattached, the mounts on either side of the trunk for the lift cylinders were installed upside down. reversing them fixed the problem.
