Phenolic spacers?

what are these spacers you are talking about. I have a injen CAI and when im in motion the difference in outside temp and intake temp is almost always a two degree difference. This info is based on my scanguage and the outside temp guage on the tC. I dont really know how accurate that thing is so iono. Lets say that outside temp is 74 degrees. My intake temp will be 72 degrees if i have been cruising for a while. Obviously intake temperature will never be less then the outside temperature, so in a best case scenario you will only gain 2 degrees cooler temp. Unless you are stationary for a while, such as a long line for in-n-out, i have had intake temps reach as high as 113 degrees in 70 degree weather.

You are not going to gain much if anything since we have a plastic maniflold that does not tend to heat soak in the first place. I have installed them on cars with an aluminum manifold and had great results of course, just do not think it would do much good on our plastic ones.
I ran 12PSI boost on my Matrix and some days made alot of back to back autocross runs and it never got very warm to the touch at all.
