Default Good axleback?

I can't take the raspy-ness anymore of my catback! It drives me crazy! If I were to get a new axleback (borla, TRD, tsudo, etc) would I have a lot less rasp? Is it the axleback that causes the mose rasp or is it the midpipe? Thanks for any help!

ok well what axle back do you have now? i have the Tanabe Concept G and it has a nice "Tuner" sound but NO rasp, as for a midepipe go with the megan, and it shouldnt give you rasp just a little louder, becuase your just removing the secondary CAT. the only time you will run into rasp is when your replace the headers with Primary CAT. but you should be ok. hope this helped a little..... try youtube.com and you can get video of tc's with differant set up's.... see what you like.

Right now I have a sr*s catback (no CC) and obx headers. I'm looking for just a axle back if the midpipe doesnt cause that much rasp.

oh. ok headers. well the reason why you have rsap is becuase you have no cat.... a new axle back is NOT going to solve that.... what you need to do(and this will be cheaper than a new axle back) is buy a AERO 25 resanator, and have weld shop weld it on your midpipe... that will get ride of rasp.....if you really cant stand the rasp, put you stock axle back, back on, till you can get the res. on. my friend got a res welded on his midpipe for $70, so its not that bad.
