Braille battery
Question: For those who have ordered a braille battery, did you order anything else beside the battery from Braille? Any other company?
Did you have any issues with Braille and the quality of the battery?

I do not like the half sized batteries for DD street cars. They don't seem to keep up well in very cold environments (like here in winter in the NE) nor with a lot of accessories running like lights, stereo, heater, defroster etc.

No real reason....just need a battery soon and getting a feel for what is out there. I am still on the OEM battery after ~ 65 months. I feel like it has held up well. Maybe I should just stick with OEM.

The Braille I was thinking about is the 17 pounder, not the 9 lb. battery or less. So I think it could handle headlamps, radio, and defroster. My battery is still kicking (barely) for now though so I am not in a rush.

i had a braille 11lbs. worked really nice for 3 months. terminals came loose causing my car to die, Lets just say i went and bought me an OEM battery. no problems for 3 years plus. that was a waste of 180$

My favorite batteries to use are Odyssey. They come in a variety of sizes, unlike Optima, and have lots of power storage capabilities with a great CCA rating. They aren't cheap but they last.
