Quick question, I have the 69 series K&N typhoon air filter installed in my 05 tc, now according to the website the gains are as follows;

Typhoon:
Estimated Horsepower Gain: 7.58 HP @ 5000 RPM

Cold Intake:
Estimated Horsepower Gain: 6.02 HP @ 5412 RPM

Thing is I had the typhoon installed right after I bought the car so I couldnt tell the difference in power gains from stock except for the deeper tone when I go over 4000 RPM which is pretty sweet.

My question is, whats the difference performance wise between the typhoon and the other cold air intakes? is it worth it to switch my intake system with a cold intake?

there will be no performance different between those 2. That little hp difference won't make any gain on 3000 lb car.
