yup so to get this exhaust to sound amazing with a header all you need is a small resonator.. if i only had enough money

the first generation of this exhaust did not come w/ a resonator. All the current ones do. I have the draxas exhaust and I think its a 20inch resonator ... but im not 100% certain on that answer.

Yup i have the first gen Draxas exhaust and no resonator and i just recently bought the MMW header.....so i will let you guys know what it sounds like....i am figuring that i will have to add a resonator to quiet it down some but it shouldnt be too bad....glad to hear that this is a great combo....i'll add a review when its in!

I know how its gonna sound (hehe) - If i were you I would but atleast a 24inch resonator on. I ahve 1 - 18in and 1 - 12in and it finally sounds better. I know the strup header but still - once you get rid of that cat it sounds horrible w/o atleast 1 resonator.

Yeah i figured.....so am i assuming the bigger the better, resonator wise....or are there better brands....or are they all the same

That im not sure of - I was going to get a $65 magnaflow but when i went to the shop they had a bunch of them (generic) - and i just used the one they gave me. The only difference I can possibly see is that the way the fins are inside the pipe ...that could be the only difference (because thats all a resonator is).
