Default tc valve cover?

one of the screws is loose on my tc valve cover and it does not tighten anymore, as a matter of fact the screw itself came off the valve along with the bolt.

does this mean the screw hole in the valve has gotten soft? if so how can I fix it? the only way I know is to stuff something in the screw hole to make it stiffer when putting the screw back in place but im not sure if thats the best aproach, any ideas?

Which is it, the bolt or the stud with the nut? If it's not grabbing anymore, try threaded inserts. Don't think you have enough room to tap for a larger bolt.

the stud easily pulls out with the nut screwed on from the well and it doesnt catch anymore.

what size of threaded inserts should i be looking for?

Most likely m6x1, but take the stud to home depot or lowe's to verify. Or if you're savy enough, just compare the thread to one of the other bolts.
