Hi there - I own a 2009 tC and just recently a clip broke in my trunk lid trim causing half of it to be jarred loose. I read a bunch of threads about calling customer service corporate to honor the expired warranty to fix this and tried to do so myself to no avail. The dealer will also not honor the warranty as I have had the car for over 6 years. Am I just stuck with the bill on a part that is known to be defective by the company? Are there any tricks to get this covered?
