Default 12V Accessory Socket Rewire

I'm new to scionlife and am an owner of a 2005 Scion tc.

Is it possible to rewire the 12V sockets to stay hot even while the car is off? I want to be able to use it without having to turn my ignition. I know its probably been done somehow. I just don't know the wiring diagram to be able to jump the 12V to stay hot. If anyone has done this or has a link of how to DIY it would be much appreciated. Anything with pictures would be easier, but if not, a step by step would be really helpful as well. THANK YOU!

I suppose you could cut the positive wire from the socket and then connect it to the constant power to the radio just above. All radios have a constant power source to keep memory. It's usually a heavy gauged wire as well, since it serves as the radio's power source. This will probably work ok, so long as you're not using it for high power demands (Running a cigarette lighter while blasting the radio may pop the radio fuse. For phone chargers and stuff, it should be fine.
