Am I the only one that feels this way when looking at people follow these non JDM, "JDM", trends.

Now I am not a fan of camber at all, but how would this possibly be considered rice? Fully built motor with everything tucked in the engine bay.....you know how many old school domestics I see set up like that? There's nothing wrong with this build even if you think it's "JDM bruh". Don't crap on this dude's build thread unless you are going to fork up the money for him to make his car "CS2SasukeXD worthy".

Camber is pretty rice now a days. We can probably all agree that it's a very impractical fad that needs to go. Boosted FWD need good suspension because the Achilles heel is traction. Not a fan of the head light on a personal scale nor the wheels. but hey, you're right, It's not my car. I do understand that, but I have the right to voice an opinion just as much as anyone has the right to build a car. whether anyone cares about what I say or about the car/builder is up to them. I'm just not a fan, that's all. If you're gonna boost it, atleast make sure it hooks. And you are right Flint, USDM do tuck wires and are a pain in the ___ to work on.

I have a friend who built a 700+ Integra, not a show car, he knows that, it's good looking but basic interior and the only exterior mod is JDM front end and lights. Car rides nice, not too stiff but stiff enough to keep the wheels planted under boost.

My car, I built my car suspension then diff, then trans, then motor. should pull low 11's all motor. again, not a show car but no compromise in performance for looks.

One more time "No compromise in performance for looks" I like the way this car is going, it's neat seeing boosted tC's, Same Integra friend helped build a 500+ tC. Awesome car, hooked amazing, but it was a street/strip car daily driven.

Keep building this car the way you want. The way you want it to be. but, just don't let yourself fall for a fad. I sold tires for a while, stretched sidewall is not safe, nor is camber while driving on the road, you need enough contact surface of your tread to the road and lowered, very stiff suspension will be a weak point also, not allowing your suspension to absorb the road properly and not allowing the proper contact of your tire to asphalt. My car is lowered but there is a such thing as too low in unsafe. I wish you luck. My 2 cents was longer then need be, but I bear no ill blood to this build, it's pure and simply an opinion on my own.

Been on vacation the last week or so, no real updates or progress in that time but ordered clear coat for the bay, and a few misc. parts for the block and motor mounts over the weekend.

Did a test with some things that I got last week, water neck and studs installed, water bypass tube installed, new oem clams for the rad hoses, and a quick spray out of the por-15 engine coating on the backside of the block

Big update today! Got the block and head coated with the por-15 and it looks mint, also got the trans back from the shop with the lsd installed and 5th gear fixed, so that's next on the list to coat. Install ran a LOT less than I thought, so that left me more then expected to get some of the remaining bits to wrap up the first part of the build. Also got in the Aem ems-4 from trd07tc here on the forums. Great dude and I'll probably be seeing him in a few weeks as I'll be going to xenocron for the first startup/tune. As always; pics!

Got some stuff done over the last few weeks. Slim rad fans and fuel rail came, along with a new set of Oem injectors for now. Might switch the one pull fan to a push to hide it out of the bay. Since I'm not running the a/c condenser infront of the rad Im not worried about keeping her cool with 2 push fans. Also got a brand new main engine harness, battery cable and remote terminals, got the trans painted up to match the motor, the bay is cleared and I remounted the abs and fuse box. So that's all ready for the motor after I get new motor mounts since my original ones now look hideous compared to all of the new things in the bay. Hopefully looking to get the motor in by the end of this month, having a fitment issue with the intake mani not clearing the power steering pump so need to figure out how go go about getting that fixed, and that's all that's left before I can install.

Well I haven't been here in a while Didn't really do anything with it during the winter due to snow and the freezing cold but I did manage to order parts during that time and I now have/had 99% of everything I need to get it running. Don't have the funds for the turbo yet but I'd rather get it driving first so I know the swap is all sound first. Clutch pedal and bracket are in the car, swapped the brake pedals, shift cables are installed, have the battery cables ran into the bay, manual engine harness is waiting to go in with the motor so I can see better iow I'm going to tuck all of that.. Clutch master is in, the hard line running from that to the slave is in.. I think that's it for now. I'll add some pics later on today

Alright so I wasn't able to add pics yesterday but I did today lol

Shift cables installed, and the plastics mostly put back; need to order the shift boot section but that's not high on my list.. Also threw on the Blox **** I have for ____s



Clutch pedal loosely mounted, and the swapped brake pedal. Last night I ordered the bump pads and spacer that I forgot for the clutch pedal so that should be 100% done in a week or so.

Also installed the slim fans to the polished Koyo rad I got over the winter




Along with those clutch pedal parts, I also ordered all new motor/trans mounts, bolts, and nuts; all of the bolts that will hold the trans and block together, and a new bracket for the shift cables (the one that mounts to the trans. Tried getting in contact today with pTuning to see how I can go about getting their fuel rail to mate to my stock-for-now fuel feed but didn't have any luck, and I also need to modify my intake manifold still to clear the power steering pump. But other than those 2 things, once I get the motor mounts delivered it's ready to get bolted together and go in. SO CLOSEEEE

FINALLY got the motor and trans in. Took a long time to get everything together and hung on the hoist but everything went smooth.





Managed to hook up 90% of the engine harness too, just have to extend the wires running to the alternator so they can be routed/hidden the way I want. Radiator/hoses are on, as well. Bad news came from pTuning when I finally got in touch with them about the fueling situation. Apparently they decided to discontinue their fuel return kit so my plan of having nice aftermarket lines with oem style clips is shot it seems unless they decide to bring it back. So for now I'm back to running the oem rail while I get it running.

So uhhhhhh its been 3 years but I've finally gotten the mod bug again hah. Yeah I still have the car and no I haven't done a thing to it in all this time other than take the car cover on and off and give it a wash lol BUT; as of 3 weeks ago or so I've started working on it again.



- All the pillar gauges (Tanabe VLS) have come in and are set up, just have to wire them to power.


- Axles are in and the trans has gear fluid now. No leaks surprisingly for the seals having sat exposed to the weather for so long


- Motor sat for so long untouched I was worried it was seized so I bought a borescope and checked her out. Still looked like it just came out of the crate so it now has oil and coolant in it


- Got a base map from Dezod to put on the EMS-4 in a few days or so



All that's left is to buy the battery and its mount, put on the exhaust, crimp on some connectors for the battery leads, and put in the coolant overflow tank and I believe it will be ready to be cranked and tuned! Still some misc. stuff to do like change the rusty brakes, set the coilover height and put my camber arms that I modified back in but none of that is needed to make loud noises again



No turbo kit for now either but it will be done at some point lol
