Damage to front of 2010 TC
Hey everyone
Recently my car was hit while it was parked in a parking garage. The offender (whom thankfully left their insurance info) managed it hit it head on the push the car back a few feet, which is why the damage is as bad as it is. I was checking to see if anyone could give me their opinion on the repairability of the damage. I feel like it should be repairable, however, the portion of the frame where the hood latches onto (at least I believe it's the frame) is bent backwards.
Here's a link to pics of the damage https://www.icloud.com/sharedalbum/#B0BG6XBubGdu694

It's all replaceable parts. They left their insurance, therefore admitted fault. Don't even call your insurance. Strictly deal with theirs. Who cares. It's all on them. But yes, your car is fine. All replaceable.

It may or may not be worth fixing. It depends on a lot of things..
1. How many miles were on it?
2. What did you pay for it?
3. What does the insurance think it is worth (value of scrap)
If all those things are low enough they will fix it..
Otherwise, even if it can be fixed, doesn't mean it will be fixed..
as it is 5 years old.. It could be worth 8500, or could be a 10k dollar car..
If it is the 8500 dollar car, if there is 6k in damage, it is totaled..
Did the airbags deploy?
Does it start? (Don't drive it, it looks like the coolant fans are crushed, that will kill that engine)
