Default HVAC Charging Help

I accidentally poked a hole in my wife's condenser on a 2005 Tc. I've got the new condenser, and a vacuum pump/gauges, and am ready to get this fixed. My question is: after I pull a vacuum, how do I go about charging the system? I know they sell those cans of 134a with the hose. I can't imagine the system takes more than a pound or pound and a half. What do I need to do as far as the compressor oil goes? Thanks for any help.

Well if im not mistaken ac pro doesnt have oil in it and it comes with a gauge. If the ac pro does just pour out a small bit of the oil and install it. Use ac pro till you get cold air. Dont over charge the compressor or it will get over pressurized when you run the car and you blow it out or the high side will bust.
