Default Need Help

I have a 2005 scion Tc. I've had it since 2005 and my ecu just went bad. i am wondering if i can put in a 2006 tc ecu or any other year ecu fro that matter and will it work.

I believe the 05-06 was the same then 07-10.
But i remember hearing that you need to reprogram the key to the ecu.

thank you but are u certain that it can be done... i dont want to buy it and then its not possible.. do you know of anyone selling an ecu for an 05 tc...

Try ebay. But as said i havent try it. Just read of another guy replacing his ecu and have to reprogram the key.

And the cars are model 05-06 and 07-11.
07 is when the body changed some and the maf sensor change.

He's right. 05-06 has the same ecu. But you will have to reprogram the transponder chip in the key.
