hi i got my tc over in summer but now my car radio cd player doesnt work. it keeps saying error 1 it says this to all cd. It use to work before but now dont. is there a way to reset the radio or what do you think the problem or solution might be? the car is still under warranty but from the previous owner and I am not sure if the warranty is transferable. what should I do?

well error 1 is in the radio's manual. it says "When the disc is dirty or has been inserted upside-down. Check the disc."

are you using regular audio cd's or self-burned cd's? some cd-r's and cd-rw's dont work in the 05-06 cd player, it didn't like some brands of cd's like the cheapies. anything from tdk, maxell, sony were ok.

if you want, you could unplug the negative part of the battery and wait 20 minutes, that will cause the radio to lose it's memory. you will have to reinitialize the sunroof and windows once you do disconnect the battery. just hold close will reset them.

warranty is transferable, the radio is covered under the 3yrs/36k warranty.
