I just need a couple more 2006s to include that year in the data collection this month.
If anyone's interested, I posted the latest results a couple weeks ago:
http://www.truedelta.com/results1206.php
I'd like to have the tC among these in future quarterly updates.

i have 38k on my 2005 tc that i got in november 04. may 04 my passenger side window wouldn't go down. took it in, it was a "bad master switch" replaced under warrenty.
then i had a problem with my sun roof wind deflector not going down and blocking the sun roof from closing. they cleaned, greased and adjusted the track.
my inner fender came out because it wasn't properly re-installed when they dealership installed my cold air intake.
then there were the two recalls for the wind deflector coating, and the side airbag problem.
i'm curious how much data you would need on the scion tc. i mean the engine came from the camry, and the chassis came from the toyota avenis in europe. can't be too hard to combine the data to predict

Thanks for all the replies, but I still need a few more owners signed up before I can start collecting data on the tC. It feels like I've been a few cars from the minimum for a month or two...

On my survey, people only report things that they asked the dealer to take a look at, and currently I only analyze things that were successfully repaired.
I'd like to also track problems that people simply live with, but that would require more work from people. So I've chosen to focus on repairs.
I should also mention that accident damage should not be reported on my survey. Not something the manufacturer can control...

05 tc 5 speed with 27,500
Just got the oil changed today at brakes plus, and they noticed the oil pan gasket needs replacing. I knew that there was something wrong under there because there is a slight drip on the garage floor. Taking it in Tuesday to have it looked at by Toyota. First Mechanical thing gone wrong since owning it

I've been 3-4 cars short of the minimum for months. Surely there are three more owners out there willing to help with this. If so, I'll start collecting data on the tC in July.
Most I have for any model: 129, for the 2007 Nissan Versa.

I have a 2006 Scion tC
49k miles on it
It's been slammed in the side by another car while parked.
I took the side view mirror off after hitting a construction barrel on the highway going 60
I have got all scheduled oil changes right on time when I supposed to and have had the tires rotated 2 or 3 times (still on the stock tires and rims).
I have not had a single issue with the car (knock on really hard wood here)
Notice I have an '06 and already have 49k on the damn thing. I don't think anyone drives more than me around here...haha...except maybe my friend...but he sold his Scion tC for a Honda....BOOOO

BFD.
My tC has had zero issues, sans the new airbag switch recall - which i have not done.
16.6k miles, and lots of maintenance money spent to keep it that way.
89 Dodge caravan = no rattles
92 lincoln continental = no rattles
02, 05, 06 corollas = no rattles
Moms minivan = no rattles
my 05 tc with 35,000 miles= Rattle trap...and squeak trap. Basically an annoying noise nuisance trap.
still looks and performs way better than my protege, but come one, a toyota quality product should not be a rattle trap. Toyota is supposed to be above par, not at or below it.
stop comparing the tc to other cars. I DON'T CARE ABOUT OTHER CARS. I care about my tc, and why it rattles so much.
Nicely said, I have an 07 BSP tC and it has 5k on it so far, And NO squeaks, rattles or anything I love this car. Maybe toyota finally fixed this problem?
Overall though, it's a very reliable car.

I noticed the latest results do not include the tC yet. Any status update on when it will be posted? I'm interested in finding out the real results. Not hearing about a parked tC being hit or someone doing their own oil changes. Thanks!
