Supercharger Upgrade options!

Supercharger Upgrade options!
So I have been doing some research and I have figured out that you can swap out the small Vortech V5 (14PSi limit, 750CFM, 52000RPM) unit that comes with the kit for a larger vortech unit, V1 V2 V3 or V7
I matched up some diagrams and the bolt pattern is the same, the input shaft is also looking to be the same diameter, as the same seal that is used to rebuild the TRD unit is also one used on other Vortech units.
and yes I have called Vortech and they have confirmed that the plate (circled in the picture at the top) is fairly universal, there are some minor changes here and there so you need to verify the plate of the replacement unit.
So this opens up the Supercharger world to higher than just 14 PSI, you can put a 30PSi unit on it with almost 2000CFM that can spin up to 10kRPM faster than the stock unit.
you can also swap out the unit and keep the stock pulley so your not straining the shaft and bearings as hard to get a higher PSi
