I believe it is; surprisingly a lot of rally cars (especially older ones) are FWD, though AWD is becoming more and more prevalent.

Very cool! And one of a kind!
I clicked expecting photoshops.
It's a wrong-wheel-drive pseudo-Camry. It's not a terribly sporty car to drive... More like a smaller Accord coupe, so the slammed boy-racer thing is no more appropriate. Props for following your imagination!

I think I have a new favorite build thread! I briefly considered going the dune buggy direction with my tC, but was threatened with my life by my beautiful and loving (and potentially lethal) wife. Oh well, I'll live through you.
Oh, and you should totally embrace the "Ricer" label, name your car Riceroni or Instant Ricer or something. The tC is a ricer, no matter what many Scion owners want to believe, and there is nothing wrong with it. Your "ricer" is fricking awesome and will only get better. Embrace the rice. Rice pride!
Anyway, I feel myself getting on a soapbox, so I'll stop now. Great start to your build and I look forward to seeing more.
P.S. You a Marine?

Anyways, I like it, its unique and crazy, but its got this strange appeal to it. Guess I love offroad/crazy ____, so it falls in that category!

Snapped a few quick shots. This week's theme was get-rid-of-stuff-I-don't-use, like the broken winch, crappy 'off-road' lights, etc.
Check the new (actually functional and good quality) winch!
Goin to Jacumba tomorrow; might snap a few action shots.

I bet an obx lsd would go a LONG way in how that thing does off road.
Videos!!!
Just noticed, is there a SUB in there? lol
A camo wrap would look stunning on it(plus, wraps are super cheap and fairly durable).

^X1.
Props for originality. You need a Safari Roof Rack. That would look bad ___ and then you could mount off-road lights and your full size spare up there. Then get a rack for the hood...and mount a High-Lift jack on it.
This makes me want to wrench on the Wagoneer.

And yes, there's a sub in there. This is my DD--gotta have tunes, on or off road!
My next project is to remove the glass strip between the windshield and the sunroof and bolt a pair of KC daylights in its place.
Thanks! Mad Max is def an inspiration for this car.
I had a guy yell at me on the freeway, "Yo! Thunderdome called--they want their car back!!"
