I am not quite sure where you got the 25mm quite. But they are listed at a 1.25" I can speak for this due to the fact that I have them. Initial drop appears to be less, but after 2 days or so they settle resulting in a overall 1.25". The only thing that you might notice is over time the rear will start to sit more then the front. I have not personally witnessed this, but I have read threads around here that report this happening after a year or so.

Hope this helps

straight off the Scion.com website:

*TRD Lowering Springs Kit $199

disclaimer
*Installation not included

Drop your tC an additional 25mm while improving your ride's overall stability and ground control with this kit from TRD. The springs are finished in pearl white.

Conversion from google:

http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=25mm+to+inches

And I speak from experience too, I have them...

I just visited the site. I see the 25mm so I would say that the intial drop is around an inch. But it will settle over the first week to 1.25" You will notice it. If you are looking for more of an aggressive drop I would go with the S-tech. But since I want to keep my ride comfort and plan on putting 19's the drop is perfect.

Also I am from Boston as well, you know how the roads are, i think anything lower would kill our cars...these roads suck.

I agree with everything you said but this guide is for initial drop, not drop + settle. All the other springs are initial drop. For example, Tein says that their S-Techs are 2.4f / 2.0r and then they go on to say that they are guaranteed not to sag more than 5mm. That extra 5mm is not taken into account in their specs

You should add the B&G lowering springs to the chart! I can give you all the info you need! While I am at it... the coilover info should be listed too! I'm not going to list MSRP because of price listing rules, so whoever is moderating this, pm me if you want to add it to the chart.

B&G lowering springs for the tC:

PART NUMBER: 92.1.088
1.75" drop front, and 1.75" drop rear

B&G fully adjustable coilovers:
(I think the coilovers should be grouped based on what they offer as well. Full dampening adjustment coilovers and nondampening adjustable coilovers prob should be seperate, but just an idea!)
Fully adjustable dampening with **** on top (compression and rebound - 32 levels, 16 clicks)

Threaded shock bodies so they can lower down into the bottom mount and you still keep your full spring travel! The spring has adjusters also so you can pre-load it if you want. Coilover lowering specs aren't officially released. It's tough to put numbers on these things because of the difference in wheel/tire/offset combinations. If I tell you I can go 5" in the front on 17's (which I can), and someone tries it with a different offset and bigger wheels and destroys their fenders, they are gonna bad mouth me for saying it. I think it's reasonable to say the coilovers for the tC from B&G drop between 1.5" and however low you want to go. B&G isn't giving official catalog printed numbers on them yet, but my car can get about 5" of drop on the front and 4" of drop on the rear with stock 17's. I hope this helps at least a little bit! moderators are the only ones I am going to answer about pricing questions until we are set up to do a group buy on these boards. Sorry, but I don't want to break any rules!

megan racing lowering springs are $129.95 and they give you a drop of 2.0 all around - they state .. "The high tensile strength and phosphate powder coating delivers outstanding spring rates that are extremely durable and resist premature “sagging”."

these are what i'm getting lol

i would think that would be a simple choice depending on how drastic of a drop you want.

I have had my Tc for a year now, and I don't like the stock suspension. I am sick of the body roll because it throws of my handling. Anyway, I saw what is listed above, but can ANYONE tell me a good brand? But not to expensive, I am currently saving for something else. THANKS.
