Will 17x8.5 wheels fit on my 2009 tC?
I want to get 17x8.5 wheels for my tC. I'm not sure if they will fit right. My car is lowered on Tein lowering springs. 2.4 inches in the front and 2 inches in the back. Would getting 17x8.5 wheels work with that?

With that much of drop, I think you will rub a little. Probably not too bad, but it'll depend on the tire width and camber. I'm running 225 tires with +35 offset. I don't rub up front, but I'm not as low as you. If I went lower, I'd probably start to catch the inner fender liner on bumps. The rears seem fine. With that offset, you'd probably want to go with a 215 width tire, assuming it will mount. It may barely clear, or you could do a minor fender roll and be good.
FYI, with my factory wheels and tires, I rubbed on bumps with a 25mm spacer (+20 effective offset) and cleared with a 20mm spacer (+25mm offset). This was with the rear fenders only rolled.
