2014 Removal of front bumper UPPER grill???
Hey guys,
Sorry to ask but I'm having trouble removing the 2.5 gen (2014+) front bumper UPPER plastic grill. It's just jammed in there and hard to pry off the bumper after removing all the clips and bolts.
I would greatly appreciate if someone could provide an easy way to remove it with bumper on the car.
Thank you so very much!!!

I'm sorry to say that I didn't look that close at the upper grill when I had my front bumper off. But Im pretty sure there are just some clips you have to press a certain way and it should just com out, have a look for a hidden screw maybe. Just investigate and go slow.

Thanks so much for the reply!
Yeah I was taking it slow but couldn't find any screws left unfortunately.
It's just wedged in there real good with whatever way it's clipped on, but of course don't want to mangle the bumper either by forcing it off.
Very frustrating for sure

i think youre gonna have to take the bumper off, cause the grill is alot bigger than it looks...i think its held on by clips and a couple screws thats also attached to the front emblem...
First times scary, but its simple once you try it...just remember to put ALL the wheel-well liner bolts back...lost the driver side liner cause of that

Thank you very much for the help!
I tried looking everywhere and there seems to be only (1) small silver screw by the emblem.
I looked at pictures of other's bumpers without the grill on and there really doesn't seem to be much of anything for the imbedded grill clips to actually clip onto anything.
Still tried to force that thing off with my fingers worked up way under the back of the grill but still won't budge much especially by the middle emblem area.
Just want to remove it cause it would look decently cleaner without it.

Thanks for the help!
Okay I just noticed that what's causing the problem is that there is no hidden clip or screw holding it on tight but instead just (2) small tabs at the front of the grill. There are a total of (4) tabs (2) long & (2) short. The (2) long ones are easy to push down but the other (2) short ones are a pain to push/get a hold of and a tight fit meeting the grill to painted surface of front bumper. I don't think it would help much if the bumper was off or not.
Anyone have any ideas (easy way) on what to use and in what direction to push/jiggle it to get that grill detached without damaging the paint???
Thanks!
