ohh but i'm talking about my toyota dealer ship. they said their antennas ran from 50-80 dollars. my tc oem antenna was around 60-70.

i dont know how much it would cost at a honda dealer ship for an s2k.

I know several have said the radio performance is the same but I'd like to point out that the antenna length isnt something aribrary. The length is a fraction of a wavelength. 1/8th wavelength, 1/4 wavelegth etc... When you are off the calculated fraction, induction efficiency is reduced. If you live in say NYC where signal strength is so strong you may not notice any effect of being off the ideal antenna length but if you are outside a city you will begin to notice the inefficiency.

I'm the FNG on the forum but just wanted to make mention is all.

Mine actually works better. I know it sounds retarded and makes no sense but there are a few stations that were quite fuzzy before that comes in perfect now. I have no idea why. I did only cut about 4 or 5 inches off it tho.

Take the antenna out and plug the hole with something or if you are willing plug it with some bondo and repaint the area so it all looks uniform. Antennas suck and local radio stations are garbage.
