Default K2 LED tail light

I was curious if anyone has purchased or has the k2 led tail light for the tc2 I was curious of what they thought about it or how well it works. I live in the midwest and there is a lot of blinding snow, fog, and rain here so I was curious on their visibility.

I have the chrome one on my grey tc2; looks great. I live in the Midwest as well so I definitely know what weather you're referring to. They do provide great visibility, especially at night. On the other hand, during the day (from what I've seen in crappy weather), the brake light doesn't seem too bright. All the brake light is is one LED strip so it's not like the entire light either. I still haven't had anyone complain and all I've gotten are compliments so if imagine its bright enough for everyone, right?

These are the same ones that Fastscions.com sells under the brand Spec D? Also they have reverse light in both right and left lamps?

Well I did the 2nd reverse light mod to my right side already and was just curious, they only sell it in black I thought and I have a silver metallic so should look good on that

I have a 2013 model so i has both reverse lights but I was told that aftermarket tail lamps like these don't have the right side because they were produce for 2011 models but I've also seen some people claiming that their kits came with it and others that don't so I'm kind of holding back because of that.

Makes sense and the mod wasn't hard at all just had to get the parts which weren't that expensive but wasn't sure if every part of the light was led or if sone were regular bulbs, my experience with flash lights and the like is that led is bright up close but doesbt have the distance that a regular bulb does

If it helps here's a video someone posted:

And they both look to have the reverse lights:

I'm in the midwest too. If you all are on FB join our car club group(link in sig) or check the Plains region threads for events, etc. Or if you all have something going on post up so we can join you all.

There is another video that shows them at night and the guy is smart enough to set the camera down and go into the car and shows the turn sigbals, hazards, and brakes they look decently bright with that whole outer ring lights up too

Right on. You still have the third brake light too...not that everyone pays attention to brake lights in the first place.

Guess I never really paid to much attention to the 3rd brake light because the factory spoiler mostly covers it and in to tall to see it when I walk up on the car lol

K2 themselves sell them directly on ebay all the time. The prices are pretty consistent, and they have the entire selection of different colors (chrome, black, clear, smoke, etc)

I just ordered the k2 Black LED Tail lights today.... I tried to contact k2 to ask about the 2 reverse lights since I also have a 2013 TC ..but they never called me back.

When I receive them this week I will post an update and pictures to show if it has the 2 reverse lights.

I've ordered my Spec-D tailights from http://www.streetbeatcustoms.com/ a few months ago but I haven't looked to see if they have 2 reverse. They are not installed yet. I'll check when I get home tonight.

Sorry, been awhile since I've been on. No condensation issues whatsoever and no complaints about the lights. With the aftermaket taillights, they offer the same light the stock ones do. For instance, if you have a 2013, you get both reverse lights because that is how the lights themselves (that you plug into the taillights) are set up. If you have a 2011 like myself, their is still only 1 reverse light simply because that is how the light fixture is wired.
