I got 3 months old Silver tC and hood/front bumper looks already worst, than in my sister 2 years old Accord.

Really disappointed in paint quality .

My Black tC chips like crazy. It has more chips than my 6 year old Civic.

I get chips on my car too. The paint on our cars are fairly thin when compared to some other manufacturers.
I got a free paint pen from the dealer as mine came with a chip on the rear bumper on delivery.

I also got 3M film applied from an independent shop. Hood, bumper, headlights, mirrors, and cargo area under then hatch.

I'd put on some 3m tape too but they are way too expensive.

I haven't had any paint chips on my 2014 tC yet.

I got a blue streak metallic but I'm a bit of a clean freak when it comes to my car.

I usually wash it once a month or a week depending on how dirty it is and I use the Klasse Twins on the paint itself.

I also have the 3M applied to my hood, full front bumper and side mirrors and so far I've had no issues.

The only location where I am missing paint is underneath the front bump, I accidentally scrapped it under a parking cement block but the 3M protected most of it lol

I was looking for bra, but couldn't find regular, so brought magnetic one.
At least some protection to the hood, until I find something better.

I'm intrigued, where'd you find that at? I hate bras but that looks pretty nice!

Ever since I lowered the tC, I've been driving like I'm playing Gran Turismo...does it slide around, at all?

It's magnetic (like those ads, on some commercial vehicles), so "sticks" pretty tight to hood.
Brought it here:
Magnetic Car Bras, Auto Hood Bra and Nose Mask for Cars, Trucks and Suvs :: Order a Bra

I went to the site and it looks like a magnet roll cut out + adhesive fabric trim. How's the quality when you received it?

Quality is fine. Magnetic cover is cut to fit well tC hood lines, so no trimming, or any additional work was necessary.
Trim is made from plastic (not fabric) and feels solid (fits edge of the hood pretty tight).
After 3-weeks of "testing" bra, so far, so good.
BTW, good hood washing and waxing before installation recommended.

I think I'll pass on the magnetic things because I had a Sirius radio magnet on my car and it scratched the living daylights out of the paint
*surprise surprise*

Anyone hear about Scion's reaction to all the complaints?!
