Default 200,000 Miles

So a couple weeks ago I finally hit 200,000 miles on my 2011 tc, and in a week I will have made my final payment. It's been a pretty good run so far, and I hope the coming years will be good to the tc.

Interested to know what kind of issues you have had in that 200,000 miles? I just joined the tC family with a used 2011 that has about 25k on the clock and I'm interested in what to expect out of the next 175k.

Me too. I have a 16 tC with only 6k on it, so I'm definitely interested in any drivetrain issues you've encountered along the way.

Sorry for the late reply, I'm not out here much these days. I have Replaced tires as needed, changed oil, and gear oil, Coolant flush, replaced front shocks (I live where the roads are chip and seal and ____), 2 water pumps(Toyota water pumps seem to be good for 80-100,000 miles), 2 wheel bearings, 2 sets of pads and rotors, CV boots were replaced (Ran over a tree branch in a storm and it tore both boots), and I change my spark plugs more frequently than recommended.

Currently my car has 223,000 miles to date. I just scheduled an appointment to have the thermostat replaced along with a coolant flush (Last one was done about 100,000 miles ago). The rear passenger caliper is hanging up (Still stock calipers all corners), and I am also going to be getting the stock clutch replaced.

I hope this helps. Mechanically I would say these cars are great. Sure there are little things like interior lights burning out. If you can deal with a car getting old but still runs great, Toyota has got you covered. I'm hoping to get this thing to see 400,000, so we will see where it ends up

I would like an update on your scion has it hit 350,000 miles if so can you let us know any issues you may have encountered. Otherwise do you suggest buying a used 1 owner 2013 Scion TC base it was really well maintained but I am not certain about getting it since it has so many miles already on it.
