Default CNT Midpipe Only (Video Included)

So not exactly what I was expecting, but still pretty pleased with the results.

I installed the CNT Racing mid pipe to the OEM axle back.

Easy enough to install since I've only had my tC for just under a year (the bolts are not fused with rust yet). I reused most of the OEM hardware except for the center of the mid pipe where that is all one piece from the factory. The OEM Spring/bolt for the S pipe flange to mid pipe was in good shape and didn't see a need to replace the gasket there or bolts/springs. However, I did keep all the unused hardware for future upgrades.

Sound, well, as you'll hear in the video, it's pretty deep. But I did hear a bit of rasp in 2nd gear around 3K. That could just be from breaking in the resonator. Seems like in the past installs I've done over the many years of modifying cars, the tone gets deeper once the fiberglass inside of resonators gets heated up and broken in. Will report back later.

Power gains? Not sure. As you can see I didn't really drive far. And didn't get into it at all. (I just bought this house, and not sure if I want to ____ off ALL the neighbors just yet!)

Fit and finish is pretty good. I wish the flange where the two new pieces connect were rotated about 15 degrees so that the bolts are horizontal with the bottom of the car, but that's my only complaint.

Link to video that is a little out of focus (I don't do video, I am a photographer by hobby, and forgot to hit the focus button before hitting record, but it's not drunk vision so that'll do pig... that'll do):
