In the end I think I may have steered away from the Descendant system, or any other catback system for that matter, due to the loss of low end torque people keep mentioning. I like to get on the pedal once in a while but for the most part I keep it under 4k for daily driving. I prefer torque gains over hp gains in that sense. I couldn't understand why so many big name exhaust manufacturers like magnaflow weren't making catback systems for the TC2...it's starting to make sense now. I don't want to buy an exhaust just for sound but I worry that the gains from an axle back system will be minimal compared to that of a cat back. What size is the factory piping anyway?

Descendant does not make anything for Scions anymore, unless you can find a used one.
