Default Bluetooth problem?

First off let me take a moment to introduce myself. I'm Casey and this is my first scion. Nice to meet everyone lol

anyways to the point. I just picked up my new TC 7.0 release. It has the pioneer deck with built in bluetooth. My issue is that when i go to setup the bluetooth my head unit is missing the menu option for bluetooth and phone. My instruction manual for the head unit shows me what I should have, but the menus are missing. Just wondering if anyone has any ideas how to fix this or if anyone had the same issue. I am taking it back to the dealership on thursday, but im trying to find a quicker solution. Thanks in advance

Sounds like they may have put ina 2011 radio instead of a 2012 head unit.

hmm thats a possibility, is there like a visual difference in the units. The unit i have has the call and end button on it and looks just like the ones i see online that other people have. only thing its missing is the menu option for bluetooth

would a mic not plugged in actually stop the option from showing up in the menus? the owners manual says i should have 5 menu options audio controls, settings, bluetooth and phone and one other one thats like sbb or spp something of that sort. but i only have the audio controls, settings, and the preset for like feel and natural the sound thing. so im missing two

radio bezel pops right off and (4) 10mm bolts. look for a small plug tucked in under the radio

Default Missing menu

Hey Casey- simple solution- the menu dissapears when the car is in motion. You have to be stopped to access the bluetooth features.

Up by the review mirror.

To the OP...if you don't have the "call" and "end" buttons on the lower left of the deck - you have the wrong deck. This was my situation and the stealership swapped it out.
