Illuminated door sills

I was going to install the illuminated door sills on my manual 2014 monogram tC but there were a couple of listings on eBay that stated that it wouldn't work with the monogram series. Does anyone here know if this is true?

States that it does not fit monogram series under the compatible vehicles.

That's not door sill lighting, that's footwell lighting.
