Don't you need a wire harness to connect the brakes/blinkers on the trailer to your car?

Yup you should be able to tow an ATV. As long as the combined weight of the trailer+ATV doesnt exceed 2,000lbs you'll be okay. I've been towing my GSXR 600, 150 miles to and from school 2x a year with no problems. Total weight of trailer + bike is about 1,500lbs or so.

You do need a wire harness to connect the brakes/blinkers. If you rent trailers from Uhaul they can be sticklers about it.
