Cool Jake's tC RS 7.0 Build Thread "NOAVGTC"

Wassap Scion peeps? Updated 3/7/15

This here is my 2012 Scion tC RS 7.0, #1314 of 2200
As featured on ScionLife's front page on February 7, 2014

The bae, the main biznatch, whatever you call it, this is my pride and joy. Way back in October 2011 I was surprised by my parents with the car (rather cruelly, actually) and yes, this means I did not buy the car, but before you hate, all $4000 worth of mods was paid for by me and only me. Not for one second do I take it for granted.

I have been slowly modding up the car ever since I got it, from fully stock to how it is now, and I don't plan on stopping any time soon. I hope to one day make it the garage queen and get a daily beater, so I can do even more wildly impractical mods to it. Here's a list of current and future mods -

Damn I dig this color so much. I mean, I love my Cement,
but there are too damn many of them on the road.

In fact, there are too damn many tC2's on the road.

I have yet to see a tc2 here in Thunder Bay, Ontario Canada.

Actually, I don't even think I've seen a Scion up here. Can't wait for mine to get here

So I got my HID's into my fog lights finally and gave her a much needed scrubbity dub. Here's some pics from the install -

The old lights

Taking off the bumper, which was easier than you would think.

Why did you pull the bumper to do the fog lights?

Because getting underneath to do it was a pain, and I couldn't reach from the top. Plus I just wanted to feel like a badass taking my front bumper off lol.

Here's a little update

I finally got my High Voltage Club stickers in and they're looking great!

Yeah, I know, I placement sucks. Maybe I'll get more in the future to move to a different spot.

And I finally took off that filthy PlastiDip from my emblems and properly painted them.

It's not perfect, but it's still MUCH better.

I've got more stickers coming and I'll be tinting the tails when I get those.

I've got some taillight tint, interior LED's and more stickers on the way. They should be here by this weekend. Will post pics.

Alright, the stuff I ordered came in, except for the stickers. (They're taking their time making them, apparently.)

I put the new LED's in and they work great but I didn't take any pictures, since they're really nothing special.

But I did get the taillight tint on and it didn't come out very good. From a distance and in the picture it looks fine, but up close you can see a ton of bubbles, tears and wrinkles. Yes I applied it properly. I will probably just get the spray or have a pro do it for me.

I haven't ordered anything new yet but I will soon. I've made up a custom gauge cluster that is super sexy and I'll be buying within the next month or so.

That is a nice looking gauge layout, where did you design it?
