Default Bomino's supalicious-white-n-vicious tC build thread [Greddy Exhaust clip]

Hi everyone. Been following the boards for a while now, but just recently registered. As of yesterday evening, I am a proud new owner of a white 2012 tC. Must say, so far, i am loving the car. Extremely smooth shifting, nice handling (esp. for a FWD), and lovely exterior/interior. For starter's, here is a pic from last night after I got home from the dealer.

as far as mods go, for now the priorities are mainly exterior:
lower (didn't know toyota was trying to appeal to the offroader's too? )
tints
HID's
etc...

small stuff. later on i'll rip into the engine compartment of course ;)

excited to get to know everyone on the boards!

Justin

Welcome to the club! Can't look at the Camaro boards, makes me green. I grew up working on Camaros and other Chevy's. One day when I'm old and kids are out of the house..until then the Tc will do.

Lot's of people here are running stubby antennas, I am running one from an Acura RDX which works fine and I'm sure some others can chime in on what they are using. Welcome to the forums.

quick update:

a-pillar vinyl removed, car has been dropped on tein S-techs, also got 20% tints all around + sun strip, and added a m3 style lip spoiler. needed that extra down force ;) i also ordered an s2k antenna.

Lookin' good, get us some pics without glare so we can see the spoiler better please. What wheels you thinking about? Ditch the stock tires if you can afford it at the same time. The stock tires are probably the weakest link in this cars handling and ride quality.

dont mind the camaro in the back... its VERY dirty atm

for wheels, i have my eyes set on xxr 530's in flat black. as far as tires, i'll likely be stretching the stocks, and when i need to swap em out, i'll get something a bit higher end

Looks good, much better pics. Tires really make the Tc handle and ride soo much better. The S-Techs about killed my back on the highway with the stock wheels/tires. I'm old with a messed up back, so ride comfort is kinda important to me.
Camaro looks clean to me. I'd be happy to wash it for him, might take a week or so..It would have a few more miles on it and bald tires when I got through with it.

thinking about blacking out

A. the mirrors. prolly would need tints on the side markers as well to look complete.

B. the front bottom lip under the grill, but instead of just doing a line down, i would follow the line around the grill (this includes the sides and slightly above the grill.)
