Default My 2013 Scion tC 100k mile review.

Here is the overview of my car. Bought it brand new 0 miles and now at 100k miles.

Oil change every 10k miles.
Engine air filter at 50k and 100k miles
Brake pads/rotors all replaced at oem 83k miles
Coolant change at 100k
Spark plugs 100k even though isnt required til 120, just felt like doing it with coolant.
Changed manual gearbox oil 100k.

Had my 100k service and saw my right back strut was leaking a little fluid, they replaced all 4 struts for me for free (i had 100k warranty) (I also towed a motorcycle like 20,000 miles last year) I am assuming it may have contributed a little. Dealership just wanted the warranty work so replaced everything.

Replaced my crap stock tires at 40k with Pirelli P7 all season plus, I am at 60k miles with 6/32 left on all 4 tires. Definitely recommended for those seeking OEM replacement. Quiet ride, good in all weather and I get 33mpg average on roads.

I have no oil or fluid leaks, I really think our cars will outlast the tC1's with our new Camry engine.

33mpg thats awesome. I just bought my 2013 @ 35k miles, just hit 40k. Im avg 26 on the built in gauge. Have you done anything to improve mileage? like an upgraded intake?

Nothing, I use all stock everything from oils to parts. Stock engine air filter, stock plugs, my mileage went up as I drove it over time. I did a soft break in, followed manual and just took it a real easy in the beginning.

I went ahead and replaced the manual gearbox fluid at 100k as well, notice no difference in shifting but I figured 100k miles was a good time to switch it out.

Thanks for the update! I'm at 70k miles in my 2014, and basically had the same experience as you. Still on the original clutch? Mine still feels same as day 1 with 70K

120k now. Running perfect, nothing new since my update. Original drivetrain and clutch and all. Probably will teplce it all 200k just for peace of mind.
