Default New Here, second tC

In September 2015 I bought a used 2009 tC to use as my commuter vehicle. Liked the car, great gas mileage (compared to my heavily modded 2005 Nissan Maxima).
On October 23, 2015 I was cut off on the 5 freeway at 0630 and lost control of the car and hit the concrete wall head on at 65mph. Destroyed the car (engine came out) and broke my back in three places.
Last week I bought another tC, this time a 2015 fully loaded with only 10k miles on it. So far windows tinted, generic air intake (no CEL after 250 miles), DIY cargo cover.
Planning exhaust, springs, front lip...
Already found some great info here!!!

Hi SanDiegoPaneraiGuy! Welcome to SL!

I'm from NorCal. Last year I was in SoCal in the SD area.
I agree the 5 Freeway can be crazy at times

Keep up the Good Work!

Need to keep this car as close to street legal in CA as I can... My Maxima has all the illegal stuff done.

Nice! I like the CF Wrap on the hood. How it cuts away with a aggressive fade.

The Punisher
logo also adds to the bold style

The Blackout TRD emblem

I like the CF Wrap on the Roof.

That's Uncommon.

Are those Caliper Covers in the 2nd photo?

I had wrapped the hood, roof and trunk on my Maxima and liked the look... Thought I would give this a try. Super easy as the roof sections are perfectly flat and since they are glass, it's easy to handle the edges.
No, I painted the calipers with Dupli-color ceramic paint.

Had some DDM 55watt 5000k HIDs installed today. Super clean install, literally plug and play except for having to reverse the polarity on them.
Big difference in whiteness.

Would you have to change the intake every time you go in for smog? unless you know someone...

Yes, the only CARB legal intake in California is the TRD one. All others are not legal and would need to be removed prior to smog testing.
