Default GB: Shark Fin Antenna

http://www.sharkfinantenna.com/

Hey guys/girls, Im the admin over at 9thgencorolla.com. I was browsing their site and it says that they offer GB discounts with a minimum of 5 people, cheaper the more we get of course. There is plenty of interest from the Corolla community so I figured Id extend the GB to you guys here and see just how low we can get these things with 2 great forums teamed up, haha. These mount over top of our antenna "stub" and have a wire that connects into it from the inside of the antenna for supposedly great reception. These are OEM color matched to our specific paint color and look better than any other ive seen around.

There are no current pics of these on an Xb, but you have the same antenna as we have so it will definitely work. The website prices these at $59 but they are professionally painted so its not too bad. I emailed them and im awaiting a reply with a discounted price for 20+ orders. So, anyone interested? Again, these are OEM paint matched and actually act as an antenna, this is not just a visual piece of plastic.

PICS:

install pics and simple install:
you unscrew the antenna and install it over top of the stub which is attached to the roof. It looks like a tiny wire that is only about an inch or two long... it screws right in where you unscrew the antenna and is all hidden up under the shark fin. No cutting no nothing, just 3M automotive tape.

If we're in for a group buy and it comes out less than $59 bucks then I'll probably consider it.

um, actually the xB antenna is embedded into the rear window. I think it looks better on the xA though...

+1 I'll wait to see if the price fits my (meager) budget. I just got a spoiler, fog lights, and an intake this month so I'm a lil tapped out right now, but I'll see.

Sell a pint of blood or an internal organ.... whatever it takes, get this antenna! I got mine at $75 and it was a great buy, so $59 is a steal!!

how's the reception? that's the only thing I don't like about stubby I got. Half of the stations that I listen to (1 of 2) breaks up a lot.

my reception around here is pretty good, but all the mountains here are iron ore...really screws with radio waves.....It is a little worse than the stocker out in the country, but hey, mine came with a cd player for long trips....

Overall, I'd rate it a solid 8 out of 10.

with the response we are getting expect to get atleast 30 orders between us, mo.com and scionlife. So it looks like it will most likely be $60 shipped... possibly lower if we can get even more. thats still about 15% off so its a deal. If it goes lower it will be a plus but I need to know how many we have at $60 shipped.

5 - 29 = $63 USD shipped
30 - 49 = $60 USD shipped
50+ = $57 USD shipped

also, you will need the paint code off teh inside of your door so they can color match it. It is specially made to fit the roof curves of your Xa's

+1 for the shark fins!! They rock, reception is the same as stock IMO, but I hardly use the radio anyways.
