So like the title states, I bought a "new to me" 2005 xA. This car runs and drives GREAT. I overpaid but the car was in such nice condition that it was worth it...
Anyway I'm not the type to buy new cars as I typically drive what I have until it dies. My first question is, what should I be on top of as far as maintenance? I know about changing oil/fluids etc. but what else? The car has 115K miles on it. I bought it from a questionable buy here pay here place. I ONLY bought it because of the condition and that it ran so well..plus it has NO rust which is awesome for a car in Maryland. Also surprisingly, the fluids looked like they were fresh even after the dealership stated that they do not mess with anything whatsoever and just get the car to run before they sell it (nice service right?)...anyway...
My second question is, how hard is it to program a new keyfob? I can get the fob for about $20 on Amazon but I would like to know how hard it is to program. It's not a huge deal but with a toddler etc. it would be nice to have. The car only came with 1 fob and it was immediately claimed by my husband. I looked up directions and they were kind of goofy and unclear so I don't want to unprogram my husbands remote or just mess things up completely.
Thanks in advance!
