Wrong head unit on my '06 Xa?
I have the aux jack between the seats, but the T1804 head unit that I have doesn't have an aux selection on it. I looked at the 2006 audio guide on the Scion website and it shows the T1807 head unit.
My guess is that I got an early '06 and they installed the wrong head unit. Anyone else see this? I can get the 1807 off of Ebay or an aftermarket unit, but wondering if I'm missing something.
Threads I've found suggest hitting the CD button twice, but that didn't work. I also tried cycling through the modes with the steering wheel button. Thanks!

Thanks for the reply. Aux port is factory, I'll probably pull the 1804 and throw in an ebay 1807 for $50 or so. Don't wan't to spend a bunch on upgrading stereo right now, but would really like a working aux so I can listen to Slacker and podcasts. Hopefully the early '06 models have the correct wiring, it seems silly that they added the aux and didn't make sure it works.

And it's fixed
I found an 1807 head unit on eBay for $10 plus shipping, put it in last weekend (with the great instructions on this site), AUX works fine now.
I'm convinced that I got an early '06 where they hadn't received the new head unit yet so they slapped in what they had. I say this because the manual I have is for the 1804, but when I look at the manual online at Scion.com it's the 1807. But it was a cheap fix for under $30 so I'm happy.
