I love my K&N.....it's a she dog to get to to service, but it sure is worth it. I can really tell a difference in stoplight to stoplight performance. I don't race Corvettes, but it sounds like I could....

I dropped in a Green air filter, same thing as K&N but green color. I noticed a little bit of increased power too. I still haven't put the included Green sticker on yet, they claim it'll add another pony or two.

its alot less trouble with a drop in filter than a cold air intake, i just like the sound of a intake. thanks for the replys guys.

I just look at it this way... if it went fast, fewer people would see how cool our rides are.

just wanted to post my time. I know it was in an egg, but still gives you an idea.

-Outside temp was about 60%
-Half tank of 87
-My lady and a little luggage was in the car
-Didn't have time to set tire pressure, so i was running 32psi on my 17's with Yokohamas (yes, 17's and massive wheel hop off the line)
-Car was bone stock

i drove straight around the burnout box (to avoid wet tires), staged my car and reved up to between 2500-2700rpm and ran a 17.4 at 77.8mph

...again this was bone stock with a passenger and some luggage, not too bad for about 87 whp.

Im interested to go back now with the work i have done and some smaller wheels.

...also, for you drop-in filter guys, i have a TRD for sale ;)
