Fuel Pump Fuel Line Removal issues..
So I'm trying to replace the fuel pump in our 06 xB and I'm having some issues taking one of the fuel lines off. The line with the yellow clip is no problem, it's the other line.
I read this thread, https://www.scionlife.com/forums/xb-...acement-93840/ on how to remove the fuel pump and when it comes to the fuel line he says to "push the 2 tabs in, and pull, should slide off." It doesn't. I couldn't get the line to budge.
I have a few questions for anyone who's done this before. Does the clip and the line come off as one piece or is the clip supposed to stay behind? In my mind the clip separates from the hose because I've seen other fuel lines like that. Is there a special tool?
Should I just pull harder? I'm afraid to damage the fuel line if I start prying around with screwdrivers.

Like Kruso said, the plastic tabs will stay in the fitting. Have you tried pushing the lines together and then pulling? You may need to do that a few times to work out any dirt that may be stopping the tabs from depressing all the way.
